Extensive education and training, unique business experiences, an exceptional military career, and professional credentials have shaped Arlene’s skills. She is a real estate broker in Arizona and a former Broker Associate in California. She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Finance) from National University.

Arlene is also a retired U.S. Navy officer. Her 20-year career provided extraordinary opportunities to learn how to work effectively with numerous colleagues and build critical leadership skills. She traveled to Navy bases around the world to assure productive and cost-effective program performance. She negotiated and administered multi-million dollar contracts as the comptroller of a major fleet support organization and she led a team of 40 hospitality professionals to manage and operate a major housing facility. Arlene also served as the Assistant Chief of Staff for Manpower at the US Navy’s base in Iceland. In that position, she worked closely with the White House and the Secret Service to facilitate President Reagan’s famous meeting there with the Soviet Union’s President Gorbachev.

Andrew Hatfield is a product of the Midwest who holds both honesty and integrity at his core. After graduating from high school in Gilbert, Iowa, he followed his dream to pursue a challenging career in real estate in the Phoenix metro area. He was motivated to start early and obtained his real estate sales license at the age of 18, enabling him to gain experience and be exposed early to the everyday obstacles one must overcome to be a successful Realtor. Problem solving and solution finding are two of the many attributes that have enabled Andrew to grow as both a buyer’s and seller’s specialist in the Phoenix market. He is committed to listening to his client’s real estate needs and does not stop until those needs have been fulfilled.

As a licensed Realtor, Jacob has been a part of the Better Desert Living team for one year and is dedicated to helping clients take the next steps in their home-ownership journeys. He also works extensively with military families at Luke Air Force Base, managing Better Desert Living’s PCS Pay-It-Forward program to provide extensive community information, home-buying, and home-selling support for military families in transition, both moving to and leaving the base.

Mark has more than 25 years of experience as a professional marketing communications and public relations executive. As a Better Desert Living partner, he plans, implements, and manages marketing campaigns and projects to enable efficient and timely sale of clients’ properties.
Extensive staff and executive-level experiences have given Mark a unique perspective on how marketing communication tools and resources can be deployed effectively within the real estate industry. As a licensed Realtor, he tailors advertising, social media, and networking strategies to the unique marketing needs of clients’ properties.
Mark also develops and manages communication programs to provide prospective home buyers with easy access to the large and rapidly changing real estate marketplace.
